A CHARACTER - A FACE - A MOMENT - A CHARACTER - A FACE - A MOMENT - A CHARACTER - A FACE - A MOMENT
I am an Actor!
I would like to be a part of your project, be it Screen, Stage or Street Performance. Half-a-century ago I appeared on TV in my Mighty Mouse T-Shirt for a Lunch With Casey contest. That was the beginning! A mom who enrolled me in classes to work on speech impediments, a run in community theatre as a teen to work on shyness. Trained for the classical stage, an early lifetime spent as a street performer, even more time spent behind a typewriter (yes, ancient machine), and a love for the silver screen, as it was once called, brings me to today. Took time off to raise a family and work on real world projects -- public policy arena, critic, editor, and comic book historian and salesman! I have been there and done that, many many times. Yet I'm still learning. There is more to Acting than just speak, or the flick of a hand, or the motion of one's form. You can never learn enough about yourself and how to use your personal space to create the Art of Performance, the Art of Acting! I wish to be a part of your project and will offer availability, arriving promptly on-time and prepared to the best of my abilities. I'm willing to take direction, risks, as well as think on the spot. I always come prepared with costume choices. And a positive attitude! I am, afterall, an Actor!
